Rising Tide Entertainment Productions LLC (“RTE”, “we”) runs this website. This page explains what information the site handles and what happens to it.
The short version: your microphone never leaves your device. The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or social-media trackers. Apart from the basic request details every web host sees, the only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us.
Your microphone
Mic mode is off until you turn it on, and your browser asks for your permission first.
When it’s on, the site uses your mic for one thing: moving the ocean. Your browser measures how loud the low, middle and high sounds are, many times a second, and the water follows those levels. All of that happens in your browser, on your device.
Your mic is never played back through your speakers, never recorded, never stored, and never sent to us or anyone else.
Turn mic mode off and the site stops using your mic, and your browser’s recording indicator goes out. You can also take the permission back at any time in your browser’s site settings.
Hosting
Vercel hosts this site. Like any web host, Vercel’s servers receive basic technical details with every request: your IP address, your browser and device type, and the page you asked for. Vercel uses them to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and may keep logs of them for a limited time. We don’t use them to identify you. Cookies and storage
The site doesn’t set cookies, and it doesn’t load advertising, social-media or cross-site tracking code.
Emailing us
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you sign with, and whatever you write. Google Workspace runs our email, so Google stores those messages for us. We use them to reply and, if we work together, to plan your event. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t sell or share what you send. We keep messages as long as we need them for the conversation and our business records. Ask and we’ll delete yours.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent personal information. The only companies that handle it are the services named on this page, and only to run the site for us. We’d disclose information beyond that only if the law required it.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email hello@rteproductions.com. Unless you’ve contacted us, we don’t keep anything that identifies you.
Children
This site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us something, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
